So when I got married, my husband and I talked a lot about what I should walk down the aisle to. I was certain I was not going to do the traditional bridal march and he didn’t like the imperial march (too menacing apparently? Whatever). What we agreed was that Ballad of Serenity was a stunningly beautiful piece of music, but the words weren’t quite appropriate for a wedding (take my love, take my land, take me where I cannot stand, I don’t care I’m still free, you can’t take the sky from me).
So.
We bought the sheet music online and my husband transposed it, and played it, and put all the pieces together to create this track, our woodwind version of Ballad of Serenity, and I walked down the aisle to the song he recorded.
I wanted to share this on my wedding anniversary but I was away… and yeah. Anyway. I have an awesome and talented husband.
Praying with my girls, so glad we did this
