This girl is the wild smile, the icy stare
She’s the crackle of the static, she’s the curses, she’s the prayers...
This girl is the shaking hand, the rattling cup
With a button and a note saying things are looking up.

Still learning who I am, and why I'm here.
Attempting steampunk creations… A shoulder piece, chest piece, and upper arm piece… Also planning forearm pieces and something for the back… Still no idea if I’m happy with them or not… They’re mostly not glued down yet, but I really should soon… I just don’t want to make a mistake or change my mind.
Sweet Lord in heaven, Miss Minerva you do know how to augment your modifications in a manner that elicits a variety of feelings, the foremost of which is jealousy.
Oh shush, dear one, as you proceed to articulate your response with such artistic vocabulary, leaving this poor soul to shame.
I feel as though I am unable to settle on a design until I can put it on properly, however I cannot don said articles until I stick everything down.
(for the record, the bottom one with straps -upper arm piece- is basically just thrown on. It still has a lot of arranging work to go yet.)
And I need to paint the plastic pieces. and work out how to attach things. But I’ve been working on these three for a solid 4 hours today, and if I don’t make up my mind soon, I don’t think I ever will.
Went to the Lifeline bookfest and bought: Taran of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs A short History of the World by H.G. Wells Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden and The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom
And from the handmade market I bought an adorable owl made by the lovely Lara whom I have named Winifred “Whinnie” Whoo. <3

Tell me what you think. Business Card design for BlueFairyWren.
I made the background on colourlovers.com using an available design and my own colour palette, I found a stock picture of a blue fairy wren and edited it myself to get a silhouette, and found fonts on dafont.com. Put together in sumopaint.com
What do you think?
I want to order cards through vistaprint soon, but not until I’m certain that it’s the best design.
Does it need anything more? Have I missed something obvious? All helpful critics wanted.
while I’m posting awesome presents and packages, I just remembered I never posted this: an incredibly special package from the delightful and precious Mrs Sarai, one of her gorgeous Origami Lilies from Oru!
