this girl’s a silhouette, can't you see?

This girl is the wild smile, the icy stare She’s the crackle of the static, she’s the curses, she’s the prayers... This girl is the shaking hand, the rattling cup With a button and a note saying things are looking up. -------- Larabelle. 25. Australian. Music. Art. Cosplay. Steampunk. Sci-fi. Anxiety. You want to be married. I get it. Trust me, I get it. I wanted to be married my whole life. I was thinking seriously about marriage when I was 9 years old, no kidding. I know you want to be hitched more than you want just about anything else, but please, please, please don’t…

If all the women in the world were to be tanned, blonde, skinny and beautiful, the media would still sift through them.

If all the women in the world treat all the men the way all the magazines in the world tell them to, men would still find them lacking.

If all the women in the world fix all their problems by eating chocolate, shopping, and watching chick flicks, they would inevitably become enslaved to the gluttony, lust of materialism, and sentimental pornography therein.

conversely….

If all the women in the world were to say, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made and loved by a Creator who gave me His life,” they would be untouchable.

If all the women in the world were to treat the men in their lives with respect, and looked after their welfare both physically and emotionally by being concerned about their own walk spiritually, the men would praise their beautiful equals.

And if all the women in the world would admit when they have a problem, confront the problem and deal accordingly with the problem by saying, “God, I just can’t do this,” there would be a change the whole commercialized world would not know how to handle.

But of course, this attitude is not developed overnight, but through habitually turning around and stabbing self-pity and lies of self-worth in the back. And when we can’t, asking for help. I too struggle with all of this.

This girl is awesome.

We need to ask ourselves a serious question: if another person’s body doesn’t belong to us (that is, we’re not married), what right do we have to treat that person any differently than a married person would treat someone who wasn’t his or her spouse?

Romans 12:30

In which I have the two most stunningly beautiful sisters in the world, whom I love more than life, and we frolic among the flowers :)

Check this: You are a woman of infinite value to the Savior. Jesus loves you with an unquenchable passion and He treasures you so much that He gave His life for you. There is no possible way to measure your worth. You are a priceless treasure. What you want is a man who gets that. You want a man who knows that you are loved by the Living God. You want a man who sees your infinite value and is so in touch with how priceless you are that He is begging God to give him the strength to deserve you. You want a man who loves Jesus and starts off every day with his face on the ground praying, “Lord Jesus, please help me to love your precious daughter in a way that pleases you.
