this girl’s a silhouette, can't you see?

This girl is the wild smile, the icy stare She’s the crackle of the static, she’s the curses, she’s the prayers... This girl is the shaking hand, the rattling cup With a button and a note saying things are looking up. -------- Larabelle. 25. Australian. Music. Art. Cosplay. Steampunk. Sci-fi. Anxiety. Couch discussions beginning with book to movie adaptations

after some time leading (briefly) to chick flics

seamlessly to The Holiday

And the line that Arthur says to Iris “You act like the supporting actress when you are the leading lady” (or something like that).

Discussing that. (Sarai is just the best for discussing all things whether frivioulous, fan-based, or serious).

That there is a problem when you see yourself as the supporting cast in your own story. That you think that to be leading lady is too much pressure. That you’re worried that you are not ‘quality viewing’ or good enough for your own story… (all doubts and feelings that I have)

And you know what guys, fuck that kind of thinking.

IT’S YOUR STORY!

You can be supporting cast in someone ELSES story, but your story is YOURS.

Sitting in your pajamas all day IS quality viewing, if that’s what you want to do. (more to come on that later)

And this realisation is liberating.

And I want use this new inspiration to create something.

Not sure what yet, but SOMETHING. A series of videos. A side-blog. SOMETHING.

Because this story is mine, and your story is yours, and I have the lead role, and you have the lead role, and we need to own that and embrace that and flipping ACT LIKE IT.
